Summer Time

I was just listening to the song "summertime" by DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince.  I know that I am dating myself by saying how well it captures the summertime so well.  Summertime is such a relxing and enjoyable time of year.  I don't like hot weather but I do love summer time.  I am hoping to update this weekly starting next week.  Check back, and post a comment whenever.

Life if Good

Life is good.  I am sitting in my house...my new house.  Pretty cool.  It is a 100 year old victoria house.  Needs some more love and care but is coming along.  Thanks for reading.

What's Going On

Some times it seems that Marvin Gaye got it right way back with What's Goin' On.  I just want to bring everyone up to date with exactly that.  My family and I have moved and now own our very fist house.  It is a charming three story Victorian House.  It needs lots of love and attention but is good.  We are very happy in it.  Life comes at you pretty fast.  I just wanted to say, it is amazing to see what is up with life in general.  God is good but right now I am dealing with a bum knee.  My right knee has gone bad...The doctor thinks it is a lateral tear in my minscus.  Surgery most likely.  Not so much fun at all.  What I did want to say is this---God is here...in my life, my family, and new house, my job no matter what th circumstances.   Take care.   Alex
